About DOCOMA

DOCOMA is an acronym for Dead Orthodox Club (DOC), Orthodox Motorcycle Association (OMA), and Orthodox Christian Men’s Association (OCMA). One trinity brotherhood in three levels. DOCOMA can also stand for Dead Orthodox Christians Offering Missionary Action.

Joshua “Maestro” Jobst founded DOC in 2017, OMA in 2019, and OCMA in 2021. His vision is a laymen-led, pan-Orthodox brotherhood and men’s mission working in symphonia with local bishops, priests, and deacons.

Orthodox Christian Men’s Association (OCMA), the first level of brotherhood, is dedicated to helping men become better men TOGETHER in Christ through prayer and work, and proclaiming the Orthodox Faith to America. Heal men, and you heal families, communities, and the nation. You do NOT need a motorcycle to join – or be Orthodox (yet) – as long as you respect the Orthodox Faith. Higher levels to aspire to include the Orthodox Motorcycle Association (OMA) and Dead Orthodox Motorcycle Riding Club (DOC).

DOCOMA calls men to stand up and be men; to have the courage to deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily, and follow Christ. We are proactive in supporting Orthodox clergy and serving Christ faithfully in our Orthodox parishes, communities, and the world.

DOCOMA follows and fosters the Holy Rule of St. Benedict, to the extent we are able, as Orthodox oblates, i.e., offering ourselves as living sacrifices to God; not being conformed to this world, but being transformed into the image and likeness of Christ (Romans 12:1-2).

DOCOMA teaches four pillars of manhood: Pray, Protect, Provide, Preside, modeling the four virtues: Justice, Courage, Temperance, and Wisdom (Wisdom 8:7), and the four Gospels (with symbols): Matthew (just man), Mark (lion), Luke (ox), John (eagle).

DOCOMA accomplishes this through education on Orthodox manhood, motorcycle riding, music, mission, martial arts, meetings, programs, pilgrimages, rallies, and other charitable services that promote and support Orthodox Christian brotherhood, camaraderie, lay leadership, body-soul-spirit health, growth, renewal, transfiguration, and Orthodox evangelical witness.

Brotherhood is free. Membership pledges & donations help us grow and fulfill our mission.
